Ticket Prices Unveiled for Pakistan-Bangladesh Test Series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the ticket prices for the upcoming two-match Test series between Pakistan and Bangladesh, scheduled to start on August 21, 2024, in Rawalpindi. This series, which forms part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 cycle, is crucial for both teams as they look to bolster their standings in the WTC points table.

Tickets for the series will be available online starting August 13 at 5:00 PM PST through PCB’s official ticketing partner at PCB.tcs.com.pk. Physical tickets can be purchased from various outlets across the country beginning August 16 from 9:00 AM.

The PCB has set ticket prices at a range to accommodate all fans, with the most affordable starting at just Rs. 50 for general enclosures like the Wasim Bari enclosure in Karachi. For those seeking a premium experience, tickets can cost up to Rs. 250,000 for a full hospitality box at the National Bank Stadium (NBS) in Karachi.

In Rawalpindi, tickets for the premium enclosures (Miran Baksh, Sohail Tanvir, and Yasir Arafat) are priced at Rs. 200. The VIP enclosures (Imran Khan and Javed Miandad) are priced at Rs. 500 on weekdays and Rs. 600 on weekends. Fans seeking more comfort can opt for a Gallery pass at Rs. 2,800, which includes lunch and tea, or a Platinum box at Rs. 12,500. Full hospitality boxes in Rawalpindi are available for Rs. 200,000.

Karachi’s first-class enclosures (Asif Iqbal, Majid Khan, Waqar Hasan, and Zaheer Abbas) are priced at Rs. 100, while premium enclosures (Imran Khan, Quaid, and Wasim Akram) are available at Rs. 200. VIP enclosures (Fazal Mahmood, Hanif Mohammad, and Javed Miandad) are set at Rs. 400 on weekdays and Rs. 500 on weekends. Shared hospitality boxes, inclusive of lunch and tea, are available at Rs. 12,500 each.

Bangladesh’s squad will be led by Najmul Hossain Shanto and includes key players like Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim. The full squad features a mix of experienced campaigners and emerging talent:
