The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a thrilling schedule for the Pakistan Shaheens, featuring series against Bangladesh ‘A’ and Sri Lanka ‘A’ later this year. This initiative is part of Pakistan’s commitment to providing competitive opportunities for its emerging cricketers.
After concluding their four-day match in Darwin, Australia, on July 29, Bangladesh ‘A’ will travel to Pakistan for a series against the Pakistan Shaheens. The matches are scheduled as follows:
– First Four-Day Match:10-13 August
– Second Four-Day Match:17-20 August
– 50-Over Matches: 23, 25, and 27 August
The venues for these matches will be announced soon.
In November, Sri Lanka ‘A’ will visit Pakistan for a five-match series against the Pakistan Shaheens. The fixtures include:
– First Four-Day Match: 11-14 November
– Second Four-Day Match: 18-21 November
– 50-Over Matches:25, 27, and 29 November
Venues for these matches will also be announced in due course.
The PCB also highlighted several key tournaments for Pakistan’s development and pathways teams:
– ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024: Scheduled for October, with details to be confirmed.
