Ronaldo Poised to Make History in Opening Euro 2024 Clash against Czech Republic

Cristiano Ronaldo, at 39 years old, is set to embark on his sixth European Championship journey, having participated in every edition from 2004 to 2020. He clinched the title in 2016 and made it to the final in 2004. If Ronaldo manages to score against Czechia, he will become the first player aged 39 or older to find the back of the net in the tournament’s history.

Among the five oldest goalscorers in Euro history, Ronaldo stands tall alongside the likes of Ivica Vastic, Goran Pandev, Zoltan Gera, and Gareth McAuley. As he steps onto the field tonight, he will secure his name in history as the first player to participate in six different Euros.

With an impressive 14 goals in Euro history, Ronaldo holds the title of the competition’s top scorer and will be keen on increasing his tally tonight. Supported by playmakers such as Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva, the five-time
