Afghanistan’s decision to bowl first after winning the toss backfired as Nicholas Pooran explosive innings of 98 off 53 deliveries propelled the Windies to a formidable total of 218-5 in their allotted 20 overs. Johnson Charles provided valuable contributions with a quickfire 43.

Chasing a challenging target of 219, Afghanistan faltered under pressure and was bundled out for a mere 114 in 16.2 overs. Obed McCoy starred with the ball, claiming 3-14, while Gudakesh Motie and Akeal Hosein picked up crucial wickets as well.

Nicholas Pooran Played a sensational innings comprising six fours and eight sixes before falling just short of a well-deserved century.
