Cricket fans can now secure their seats for the upcoming 2024-25 international cricket season as general public tickets go on sale starting today, June 14, at 11 am local time at respective venues. Purchasing a ticket for either the NRMA Insurance Men’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series or the CommBank Women’s Ashes Test by June 30, 2024, grants fans the chance to win one of six coveted Golden Tickets.
The Golden Ticket offers an exclusive upgrade to the Test Match experience. Winners, along with a guest, will enjoy privileges such as a pitch walk, a comprehensive behind-the-scenes tour, a meet and greet session with an Australian player, a ticket upgrade to corporate hospitality, and a prized bat signed by both competing teams. Those who already purchased tickets during the pre-sale period from June 4-13 are automatically entered into the draw.
Early ticket purchases are encouraged to secure prime seating for what promises to be an exciting summer of cricket. Notably, the pre-sale period saw record-breaking ticket sales, underscoring the immense anticipation for the upcoming matches.
Maintaining a commitment to accessibility, entry-level prices for both men’s and women’s international matches remain unchanged for the ninth consecutive year. Prices start at $30 for adults and $10 for children for men’s matches, while women’s matches begin at $20 for adults and $5 for children.
The international cricket season kicks off in September, with the Australian Women’s Team taking on New Zealand in three T20Is in Queensland, followed by a series against India in December. The Australian Men’s Team will commence their summer with a Dettol white-ball series against Pakistan, leading up to the highly anticipated NRMA Insurance Border-Gavaskar Trophy Series against India.
The multi-format CommBank Women’s Ashes will wrap up the season, culminating with a historic Day-Night Test Match at the iconic MCG. Tickets are available for purchase at cricket.com.au/tickets.
Cricket Australia CEO, Nick Hockley, expressed excitement for the upcoming season, highlighting the intense rivalries and urging fans to secure their tickets promptly to be part of the action. He emphasized the importance of accessibility by freezing entry-level prices, ensuring that fans of all ages can witness these historic series firsthand.
